The SBA Training Program is A 4-month hybrid Seafood Business Accelerator designed to help seafood entrepreneurs get more for their harvest.

Eligibility

To participate in the 2025 SBA Training Program, seafood entrepreneurs must be:

What You Get

Through the SBA program, you'll benefit from expert training and guidance from experienced coaches and mentors.


Participants in the 2025-26 cohort will receive business support services. While the program is free, participants are expected to commit their time. The program requires a time investment of about 5-10 hours per week over the 4-month duration.

Communication Tools

Upon completion of the program, participants will have:

  • An Innovation Plan (a roadmap for their idea)

  • Professional photographs & story

  • Product marketing/business system prototype

  • Presented product & marketing prototypes to potential stakeholders
